Researchers from Princeton University and the University of Washington developed this one-of-a-kind camera, which is about the size of a grain of salt.
A grain of salt is around the size of the camera. However, it can record objects in close proximity in great detail.
According to experts, previous micro-cameras were impressive in terms of size but not in terms of image quality. Even images of objects that were close together were frequently hazy and blurry.
This is not the case, however, with the one created by experts from the two universities mentioned earlier.
The camera had photographed everything in incredible clarity and color. According to the researchers, it performs similarly to a regular compound camera lens.
