The price of liquified petroleum gas was raised on Friday by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) (LPG).
The price of LPG for July would increase by Rs. 1.66 per kilogram, according to the regulator.
The price of an 11.8 kg household LPG cylinder will now cost Rs. 2,600.97 per cylinder, up from June’s price of Rs. 2,581.35 per cylinder by Rs. 19.62.
Beginning on July 1st, 2022, the new LPG pricing will be in effect.
The price rise comes after a day-earlier increase that raised the cost of gasoline to Rs. 248.74 per liter and increased the cost of high-speed diesel to Rs. 276.54 per liter.
LPG is regarded as “poor man’s fuel” and is utilized as a replacement for natural gas, thus the price increase will have a significant impact on the family budgets of hundreds of families after the dramatic spike in petroleum prices on Thursday.
It is important to note that the price of gasoline, high-speed diesel, kerosene, and light diesel oil was raised by the federal government yesterday night.
Petrol will now cost Rs248.74 with a Rs12.85 rise, while high-speed diesel will cost Rs276.54 with a Rs13.23 increase.
