The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has declared that approved bank branches will remain open on Saturday and Sunday to accept completed Hajj 2024 application forms and payment.
Banks to Remain Open For Hajj Applications
On the request of the Ministry of Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony, the SBP, however has instructed 15 approved banks to maintain all of their designated branches open nationwide on Saturday and Sunday, (09-12-2023 and 10-12-2023) from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Prior to this, in accordance with the Hajj Policy, the Ministry of Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony granted permission to fifteen banks to gather application forms and payment from individuals starting on November 27, 2023, and ending on December 12, 2023, nationwide.
However, those banks includes National Bank of Pakistan, Habib Bank, United Bank, MCB Bank, Allied Bank, Bank of Punjab, Bank Alfalah, Zarai Taraqiati Bank, Faysal Bank, Askari Bank, Bank Al-Habib, Habib Metropolitan Bank, Soneri Bank, Meezan Bank and Bank Islami.
