On Sunday, the National Highways and Motorway Police and the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) announced that mobile users may now get travel advice through SMS. The PTA has officially announced the start of a travel-related SMS service (NHMP).
According to the data, the purpose of the advise is to warn motorists that they should drive with additional caution on highways and motorways that lead to flooded regions. The authors of this essay hope that after reading it, drivers will keep this in mind.

According to authorities, the number of fatalities caused by extensive flooding in the nation has surpassed 1,000 since mid-June. Nearly 120 people have died in the past day as a result of flooding, according to data given by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
Floods have destroyed over 150 bridges since June 14, and 3,451 kilometres of roads have been completely destroyed or only partially affected.
