While multiple automobiles were damaged and Kia Pakistan suffered significant losses, the fire that broke out in a Kia store in Rahim Yar Khan city. Initial reports indicate that a short circuit is what started the incident.
Approximately 23 parked automobiles at Kia United Motors were entirely destroyed by fire, according to reports, and the firm allegedly suffered inventory and property losses of approximately Rs. 220 million. The personnel thankfully managed to flee in time, but it took the rescue crew a few hours to put out the fire once they got on the site.
All Kia automobile reservations are once again being accepted by KLMC. This declaration followed the government’s decision to loosen import restrictions immediately. According to a dealership spokesperson who spoke with sources, the firm is accepting reservations for all vehicles with a minimum one-month delivery window.
A week earlier, KLMC stated that despite significant increases in the rupee versus the US dollar, it would retain its new rates. The corporation said in an official public announcement that its automobile price rise of 14% is much less than that of competitors who increased their pricing by 19–23%.
The market for new automobiles has started to suffer from pricing swings and delivery delays, as most businesses are reporting lower sales than in prior months.
