In a significant milestone, Dubai has declared that preachers, imams, and Islamic scholars who meet certain criteria will be granted a Golden Visa, a long-term resident visa.
Golden Visa is available to a wide range of people, including real estate tycoons, businessmen, investors, entrepreneurs, doctors, scientists, artists, and many others.

The categories have now been expanded to include preachers, muezzins, Islamic jurists, imams, and religious experts. Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, announced the decision.
It should be noted that qualified persons must have served in their posts in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a minimum of 20 years. The Golden Visa is a popular visa option in the UAE that tries to recruit and retain foreign professionals.
Individuals can live, work, and study in the UAE for five or ten years without the need for a sponsor under this programme.
It also allows you to work outside the UAE for extended periods of time without impacting your visa status and allows you to sponsor family members.

The most recent addition includes preachers, muezzins (the person who announces the call to prayer), and muftis (Islamic jurists), as well as mosque imams and religious experts. Eligible candidates must have worked in the Gulf state for at least 20 years.
The declaration came just before Eid al-Fitr, a Muslim holiday observed around the world that commemorates the completion of Ramadan, a month-long fast from sunrise to sunset.
The Crown Prince of Dubai also announced an unspecified “financial award” to commemorate the Islamic holiday.
The UAE’s Golden Visa programme is a highly sought-after long-term residency visa meant to recruit and retain foreign talent within the country, allowing persons to live, work, or study there.
It provides long-term residency for either five or ten years, allowing visa holders to live in the country without the need for a sponsor, to work outside the UAE for extended periods of time without jeopardising the validity of their visa status, and to sponsor family members.
