A restaurant in Lahore is allegedly giving acid-filled water bottles to many guests at a birthday celebration that took place a few days ago. Two innocent kids, a boy, and a girl, reportedly suffered serious burns after getting in touch with the acid thinking it was water.
While the female drank the acid, the boy washed his hands in it and got burns on his arms and hands. Both are presently getting care at a hospital, where it is said that the daughter has a severe condition.
The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) recently discovered hundreds of kg of long-expired meat in a hotel’s Lahore refrigerated storage.
7,000 kg of outdated meat from three years ago was confiscated by the PFA. The meat was removed from storage and disposed of by the PFA in accordance with environmental regulations.
The complainant claimed that a customer washed his son’s hands with one of the water bottles provided by the restaurant after dinner. The kid screamed as soon as the water was poured over his hand.
Another youngster drank from one of the bottles at around the same time, puked, and then lost consciousness. One of the relatives, who was caring for the youngster, also had blisters on his hands as the child vomited on him. Both youngsters, according to the victims’ families, were taken to the hospital.
