Bookings for Lucky Motor Corporation Limited’s (LMCL) best-selling autos have begun, which is a promising omen.
Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) is a Pakistani carmaker and a subsidiary of South Korean automaker Kia Motors.
A joint venture between Lucky Group and Kia Motors has been formed. Although Kia Lucky Motors Pakistan changed its name to Lucky Motors Corporation Limited in 2020, the two companies’ relationship is still ongoing.
Bookings for the Kia Sportage, Stonic, and Picanto were abruptly halted last week. Market reports, on the other hand, indicate that the company wanted to rethink its pricing strategy. Kia raised the prices and began accepting reservations again shortly after.
Bookings were likewise paused last week before being resumed this week by Toyota IMC. Economists estimate that several additional price hikes and booking suspensions will occur this year as a result of the local currency’s instability and increased operational costs.
Despite the price hikes, Kia vehicles are still in high demand. Unofficial reports claim that the company sold over 2,000 vehicles, the majority of which were Kia Sportages.
The recent price hike, which has dramatically boosted the value of Kia vehicles, is expected to have an influence on the company’s demand.
