Cecile Landi, Biles’s coach, said the injury was minor. “She felt something in her calf,” Landi said.

Biles had a calf issue earlier this month, Landi said. It stopped but came back a little today. The U.S. team topped the rankings in their round. Jordan Chiles and Sunisa Lee finished about 3.5 points behind Biles.
Memmel said the team aims for a gold medal. In three rounds on Sunday, Biles performed last. She had the crowd’s full attention. Celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Tom Cruise, and Anna Wintour watched her.
The team is focused on winning gold. Biles’s injury did not stop her. She and her team aim to succeed in the final. The U.S. team is ready for the challenges ahead.
