As a result of England’s victory against the West Indies, Babar Azam has fallen down. The ranks of the ICC Men’s Test Player rankings, moving down to the No.1 spot. This comes as numerous other prominent English players have risen through the rankings.
Babar Azam Test Ranking
After England’s victory over West Indies in the second test, Harry Brook also made significant advancements. Climbing four ranks to reach a career-high third place in the batter rankings. This achievement was a career high for Brook.
During their match at Trent Bridge, the squad, which was led by Ben Stokes. Was victorious by a dominant 241 runs. Joe Root, a veteran batsman, showed brightly by hitting his 32nd century in a test match.
Test Batter Rankings
This brought him closer to the top of the Test batter rankings. Which are presently held by Kane Williamson of New Zealand.
With the addition of 12 rating points, Root is currently only seven points behind Williamson in the list of players.

Outstanding Performance from England

Jayden Seales, a spinner from the West Indies, moved up 10 spots to 34th place after taking six wickets in the Nottingham Test match.
