On September 6, 2023, Pakistan and Bangladesh will play the opening super 4s stage match of the Asia Cup 2023 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Pakistan and Bangladesh are the first teams from their respective groups to advance to the next round.
Pakistan thrashed Nepal by 238 runs in the tournament opener at Multan on August 30, however their second match against India ended in a no-result after India had 266 on the board batting first, and heavy rain destroyed Pakistan’s batting chances.
Bangladesh, on the other hand, had lost their first match to Sri Lanka in a low-scoring affair before thrashing Afghanistan by 89 runs in the second group match to have a net run rate higher than both of the other teams.
