Everybody has experienced a situation where someone in a WhatsApp group conversation shares inappropriate remarks or images. It isn’t much you can do about someone sharing graphic material, spoilers, or adult material without thinking twice but kicking them out of the group.
This is going to alter drastically. The ability to erase any messages in a group conversation will soon be available thanks to a new feature being developed by WhatsApp.
The capability has now been included in WhatsApp’s most recent beta version after first being discovered last year. WABetaInfo is the source of the information.
The appearance of the feature is seen in the screenshot below.
You can see that the new function allows you to remove messages for each member of the group. The process is quite simple. Simply keep holding down a message to get the “Delete For Everyone” option, as seen in the picture above. Everyone else in the group will be able to see that a message has been deleted by the admin after you have done so. This ought to make it much simpler to control unruly individuals in groups.
There are just a few beta testers that have access to the functionality, so it won’t be available to everyone right once. Remain tuned.
