September 15, 2025: Thar Foundation has signed fresh agreements with leading institutions to expand opportunities in education and skills training for the youth in Thar. These collaborations aim to improve access to advanced technical learning, professional certifications, and scholarships, ensuring local students are well-prepared for future careers in industry and beyond.
Partnership with TANG Chinese Education & Technology Ltd.
To strengthen technical training and provide international exposure, Thar Foundation has partnered with TANG Chinese Education & Technology Ltd. This collaboration introduces advanced training modules, a dual diploma program, and Chinese language courses. These programs will prepare Thar’s youth for industrial careers and cross-cultural opportunities. Earlier, Thar Foundation facilitated training of 74 engineers in China and sponsored six students for postgraduate studies.
IT Program Graduation with ZABTech
In collaboration with ZABTech, Sindh’s largest private provider of technical and vocational training, Thar Foundation celebrated the graduation of 40 students in New Sehnri Dars village. The graduates completed an IT program and earned certifications in web development and graphic design. These credentials open doors for employment in local industries and global freelancing markets, offering greater career independence for Thar’s youth.
Merit-Based Scholarships at MUET Jamshoro
Thar Foundation has also launched a merit-based scholarship program at Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro. The initiative covers tuition, admission, and examination fees for high-performing students. Previously, Thar Foundation’s support enabled 11 MUET students to complete their undergraduate degrees. The scholarship program continues this commitment, empowering bright students to pursue higher education without financial burden.
