WhatsApp now allows you to use two distinct accounts on a single Android smartphone, in addition to the ability to use one account on multiple smartphones.
WhatsApp Feature
This long-awaited feature, which is similar to Telegram‘s offering, has been available to WhatsApp beta testers for some time, but it is now being gradually introduced to the stable channel.
This novel ability to run two separate accounts on one device eliminates the need to carry two smartphones or use app cloning features.
This should allow you to use both your personal and work accounts on the same device.
Requirements For Getting This Feature
It is necessary to have a second phone number and SIM card, or a phone with multi-SIM or eSIM functionality, in order to set up the second account.
Even if your second SIM card is in a different device, you should be able to create a second account if you can receive the security code required for login.
Once you’ve completed this requirement, go to WhatsApp settings, select the arrow next to your name, click “Add account,” and then follow the on-screen instructions.
WhatsApp ensures that you can manage privacy and notification settings for both of your accounts independently.
Availability of Feature in Pakistan
Keep in mind that the multi-account feature is not yet available to everyone, so it will likely be a week or two before it reaches everyone worldwide. We’ll keep you posted as soon as the feature is available in Pakistan.
