The anticipated kit for Pakistan’s forthcoming ODI World Cup campaign has been accused of being unfairly and unlawfully used without giving the artist proper credit.
The anticipation for the forthcoming ODI World Cup in 2023 is at its height, but it is not without controversy.
Recent rumors about Pakistan’s predicted tournament jersey design have generated a lot of buzz on social media.
The reported kit’s distinctive and eye-catching aesthetics were unveiled by a sports journalist, and they undoubtedly piqued people’s interest.
ICC 2023 World Cup Kit Design Controversy
This euphoria has, however, been dogged by a Twitter user who asserts that the design was not created by the sports page in its whole. Instead, it’s claimed that his friend’s design was appropriated.
According to rumors, the designer developed the idea for the uniform design competition last year for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The user claims that his friend’s creative efforts weren’t properly acknowledged or credited when the design was used.
The design was not shared, it was stolen by @ChangeofPace414 or who ever created it. This design/concept was originally created by my friend @GraphicsGhous_ during last year PCB’s concept kit competition. @_FaridKhan do you research before posting. https://t.co/k8zOTd10Zk

There is a chance that the PCB might face harsh criticism for potentially adopting an artist’s work without properly recognizing their contribution if these claims prove to be true and the PCB continues to use a similar design for the World Cup suit.
