Rising expenses for gasoline, motorcycles, and automobiles have paved the way for an influx of electric bikes in Pakistan. Evee, a Pakistani startup based in Lahore, had previously introduced the C1 electric scooter. Not long after that, Super Star teased its own electric scooter. Metro introduced the E8S Pro, an electric scooter that can compete with the C1 Pro, just last month.
The latest information from Horsepower Pakistan suggests that another bike manufacturer, New Asia, would introduce two new electric scooters to the Pakistani market. Information on the scooters is still limited. Nonetheless, the author suggested that the electric mopeds would be powered by 1000-1500 watt motors and dry acid batteries.
The specs of bike are different
The performance specs of the two scooters will be different, with the cheaper model aimed at budget shoppers and the more expensive one aimed at fans with deep pockets. Scooter prices are not confirmed in the report, but are estimated to range from Rs. 260,000 to Rs. 320,000. The introduction of these scooters may increase competitiveness among the emerging electric moped market.
