As the Xiaomi 13 series has already made its global debut, it’s time to turn our attention to Xiaomi’s next generation of flagship smartphones.
Xiaomi 14 Series
We now have some preliminary specifications for the upcoming 14 series, thanks to tipster Digital Chat Station, including information on the chipsets, batteries, and charging speeds.
The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro, which are expected to be released in November, will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
mi is expected to be among the first smartphone manufacturers to release devices with this new chipset. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is expected to feature a new architecture with a 1+5+2 core configuration. A Cortex-X4 prime core will be included, as well as 5 Cortex-A720 cores and 2 Cortex-A520 cores.
It is expected to include the Adreno 750 GPU, which will provide significant performance improvements. In terms of battery and charging capacity, the mi 14 is said to have a 4,860 mAh battery.
It will support 90W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Although this is a significant improvement over the Xiaomi 13’s 67W wired charging, the battery size has only increased by 360 mAh.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to have a 5,000 mAh battery. It will support 120W wired charging as well as 50W wireless charging.
This battery is only 180 mAh larger than the one from last year. Stay tuned for more information as the launch date approaches.
