Instagram, the popular picture and video sharing site owned by Meta, has begun rolling out updated editing features for Stories and Reels. Split, Replace, and Speed are all part of this. Users may now improve their Reels directly in the app and share them without ever having to leave or use any external apps or services.
Instagram’s updated editing features for Reels:
The three editing tools in Reels are simple and perform exactly what you want.
A video can be “split” in two with this programme so that each half can be edited independently.
With Replace, users can switch out one video for another without disrupting the editing timeline or clip sequence.
This also prevents any alterations to the audio or visual effects.
Video clip speed can be adjusted using this feature, which works just as its name says. The speed of the video can
be changed by the user, who has the choice of making it faster or slower.
Instagram’s new editing features and how to use them
- Refresh your mobile device’s Instagram app.
- Select the Reels tab by clicking the plus sign in the bottom ribbon.
- Here you can upload a video you’ve already recorded or one you’ve saved from your computer to your Reels.
- Click the Edit button when you’re finished, and then select one of these alternatives.
- To utilise one, choose it by tapping on it.
- Edit the reel as needed and click the forward button to upload it.
Please be patient while Instagram works to push out the new editing features for Instagram Reels.
