The second generation Honda Brio hatchback has received a facelift four years after its debut. In the Indonesian market, the refreshed Brio will compete against the all-new Toyota Wigo, Suzuki Celerio, and Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback.

The Brio facelift includes a larger front grille, new LED light graphics, and a redesigned bumper that merges the lower intakes and is flanked by a pair of LED foglights that are identical to those found on the all-new BR-V.
In addition, the RS model now has keyless entry and new color schemes for its 15-inch wheels. Lower trim levels of the Brio also get new 14-inch wheels and the Electric Lime Green color.

Under the hood, the updated Brio retains the same 1.2L inline-four cylinder i-VTEC engine that produces 89 hp and 110 Nm of torque. Transmission options have also been carried over, so the Brio can still be had with a 5-speed manual or a CVT.
The Brio will not receive the Honda Sensing suite, which means that the WR-V will remain Honda’s most affordable vehicle in the ASEAN market due to the presence of the aforementioned ADAS.
Brio is a popular vehicle in Indonesia and other regional markets such as the Philippines due to its small size, low price, and excellent fuel consumption.
Despite its merits, Honda has never considered introducing the Brio hatchback in Pakistan, preferring to stick with the City sedan as its entry-level vehicle.
