Former Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi has made a huge contribution to the development of young cricketers in Karachi by creating the L. A. Boom Boom Cricket Academy.

Shahid Afridi claimed on his social media account that his academy was created in cooperation with Legends Arena and will provide prospective cricketers with a place to perfect their abilities.
He stated:
I will be running my cricket academy, L. A Boom Boom Cricket Academy, which will provide the highest level of coaching and training to young cricketers. Legends Arena offers state-of-the-art pitches approved by the English Cricket Board, providing an ideal platform for aspiring cricketers to hone their skills.
The former all-rounder added that they will concentrate on developing the talents of young and aspiring cricketers under the supervision of highly qualified coaches and trainers.
Earlier this year, Afridi set the groundwork for a new cricket academy in Quetta’s Sariab Sports Complex, which would be run by the Shahid Afridi Foundation.
He founded the Mega Star League (MSL) last year, which included former cricketers such as Misbah-ul-Haq, Abdul Razzaq, and Inzamam-ul-Haq.
It is worth noting that the 46-year-old served as interim Chief Selector, during which time he took major strides to improve the national team.

India constantly pushes back to play in Pakistan
