On Tuesday morning, all-electric passenger plane took flight successfully in the sky. This plane is known as the world’s first electric aircraft that doesn’t require conventional fuel for the journey. The project named Alice was founded by an Israeli firm ‘Eviation.’
It took off from Washington’s Grant County International Airport, United States successfully. Who knew earlier that this prototype will be going to become a reality? Yet it flew up to 3000 feet just in an 8-minute flight.
The unique passenger plane requires the same battery technology as any electric vehicle or smartphone. This electric plane requires 30 minutes of charging to operate in the sky for a whole hour.
According to this plane’s capacity, it can carry 9 passengers along with 2 pilots. 287 mph is the maximum speed reported for this airplane.
The good news for the airlines is that this electric plane will be delivered to them by the end of 2027 as mentioned by the firm.
The company is still working on the innovativeness of their project, and they will come up with the final version by 2025 in the market. The final version will be tested for one or two years for safety purposes.
