Samsung’s fourth generation foldables are expected in a month, but lower starting prices are unlikely. This could be a good time to buy a third-generation foldable, and Samsung US is offering some incentives to do so.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 is on sale for $400 off and up to $640 in trade-in credit (or $465 if you send in a device with a cracked screen).
This means that the 256GB model starts at $1,400 and can go as low as $760 depending on your trade-in. As an added bonus, Samsung will provide you with a free Galaxy Watch4 (40 or 44mm).
The Galaxy S22 and S22+ receive a similar deal, with up to $700 in enhanced trade-in (up to $700 again for a device with a cracked screen) and a free Galaxy Watch4 or Watch4 Classic (the Z Fold3 deal offers only the vanilla watch).
This means the S22 and S22+ could be reduced to $150 and $350, respectively. This offer is even better for the S22 Ultra, with up to $1,000 in enhanced trade-in value (which again, values devices with cracked screens the same). This means that the 128GB model costs $200 less than the S22+.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 receives a straightforward deal: up to $600 in trade-in credit (or $415 if you send in a phone with a cracked screen).
This means that you can get the Flip for as little as $400 for the 128GB model and $450 for the 256GB model.
Finally, if you’re looking for a new tablet, the Tab S8 Ultra includes a free pair of Galaxy Buds Live as well as up to $675 in trade-in credit. This means that the tablets could cost as little as $425. The Tab S8 and Tab S8+ are also included, but they only receive up to $200 in trade-in credit, so the S8+ model may end up costing more than the Ultra.
