According to documentation accessible, 68 telecom stations spread across 13 lots in Balochistan are either banned or damaged as a result of security difficulties.
Additionally, the aforementioned problem has damaged or obstructed 15 telecom sites across 4 lots in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The statement claims that during the course of the last four years, scumbags engaged in 47 actions against mobile sites in various Balochistan’s districts.
Since 2018, scumbags have engaged in 10 activities on telecom sites in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Blocked or Damaged Telecom Sites
The most difficult districts in Balochistan in terms of law-and-order conditions, according to the document, are Awaran, Lasbela, Khuzdar, Kalat, Kharan, Bolan, Turbat, Gwadar, Dera Bughti, Barkhan, Kech, Sibi, Killa Saifullah, and Panjgur.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Bajor, North Waziristan Agency, FR Bannu, FR Lakki Marwat, Hangu, and Bannu are the most tough districts.
The document states that there are 11 damaged or blocked sites in the Kalat lot, 27 blocked sites in Balochistan’s Awaran Lesbala lot, and 1 blocked site in the Khuzdar lot.
Furthermore, there are 6 blocked sites in the National & Motorway lot, 11 blocked sites in the Kech lot, 9 blocked sites in the Panjur lot, 2 blocked or damaged sites in a tiny lot, and 1 blocked site in the Gwadar lot.
Security concerns have resulted in 11 sites being damaged or shut down in North Waziristan Agency, 3 sites being shut down in FR Bannu, and 1 site being shut down in FR LakiMarwat.
The dossier states that since 2018, 42 telecom site engineers and employees have been kidnapped in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Security personnel have recovered 30 people through various operations, but 12 people are still missing.
Officials from the Ministry of IT & Telecom claim that the security forces have fully cooperated in the effort to find the employees who were kidnapped from telecom sites, even though many security personnel also perished during the rescue operations.
For the protection of these locations and the upkeep of the towers, the Ministry of IT collaborates with the Ministry of Defense.
