It was discovered on Monday that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) had seven planes grounded for repairs and one aircraft retired.
Three Boeing 777s, two Airbuses, and three ATR planes have all been grounded, according to the Aviation Division, which also informed the National Assembly that one Boeing 777 could not be repaired.
The Pakistan International Airlines is going through a difficult period for a number of reasons, including having more employees than necessary.
As people prepare to cool off in hilly areas, the airline has announced commencing many flights to the northern regions.
PIA Announcement Regarding Flights Schedule For Northern Areas of Pakistan
The national airline made an announcement about increasing the number of flights to various locations in the country’s north.
There will soon be numerous flights to Gilgit each day, according to PIA. Not only that, but the airline also let the passengers know that they will soon be able to fly there from Karachi and Lahore as well.
As part of the development, PIA also told social media users that soon there would be many flights departing from Karachi and Lahore each day for Chitral.
People who are travelling to Skardu should also be happy because several flights will depart for the city, and Lahore and Karachi will also offer flights to the popular destination, which is often filled with tourists, especially in the summer.
With each passing day, tourists are making preparations to visit Pakistan’s tourist sites in the north, where summertime temperatures can drop as low as 10 degrees Celsius, in an effort to escape the rising temperature there.
The service provided by Pakistan International Airlines is certain to draw thousands of people who previously had to deal with two problems: the lack of flights from other cities like Lahore and Karachi and the existence of only one flight per day.
