U Microfinance Bank and the Capital Development Authority (CDA) sponsored a tree-planting program. U Bank workers took part in a planting exercise to commemorate the start of the monsoon season. 5,000 trees were planted as part of U Bank’s ongoing efforts to run an ecologically friendly business.
Aiming to achieve triple bottom line success, U Microfinance Bank has been conducting yearly tree planting projects. U Bank has maintained its history and contributed over the past four years to environmental conservation and protection since it is aware of the impact of its activities on the globe.
The program is a component of U Bank’s bigger corporate goal, which includes decreasing the company’s carbon and waste impact and developing a line of goods to assist climate resilience and long-term social change.
