The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) crime circle in Mirpur Khas apprehended five Pakistanis who had worked in Israel for up to seven years. Eight Pakistanis have been arrested and booked in connection with five separate offenses under the Passport Act of 1974 and the Emigration Ordinance of 1979.
The remaining suspects are the target of ongoing arrest raids.
Pakistanis entered Israel through illegal means
According to reports, the suspects entered Israel illegally after passing through countries like Turkey, Kenya, and Sri Lanka. They obtained European visas through a Jordanian intermediary and paid between Rs300,000 and Rs400,000 to enter Israel.
Noman Siddiqui, Kamil Noor, Kamran Siddiqui, Mohammad Zeeshan, and Mohammad Anwer were detained; they had all been working as helpers and vehicle washers in Tel Aviv for four to seven years. Western Union was their go-to for remittances to loved ones back in Pakistan. The suspects frequently flew through Karachi Airport in Pakistan on their way to or from Jordan and Dubai.
