Residents Felt Earthquake
According to Islamabad-based journalist Sarah Batool Haider, the tremors were felt for a brief period of time and caused many to rush out of their offices.
“It was horrifying as this was the second time a quake hit the capital within a short gap,” Haider added.
The quake, which had a depth of 10 km, began at 1:04 PM, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
The PMD reported that Eastern Kashmir was the epicenter of the quake, with coordinates of 75.97 E and 33.32 N.
