Four senior officers of the Pakistan Customs Service (BS-20-21) have been transferred and posted by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) effective immediately.
Mr. Fayyaz Anwar (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-20, Chief Collector of Customs (OPS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Custom House, Peshawar) was promoted to the position of Member (OPS), Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad, according to a notice issued by the FBR on Tuesday.
After serving as the Chief Collector of Customs in Balochistan at the Custom House in Quetta, Muhammad Saleem (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-21) has been transferred to the position of Chief Collector of Customs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the Custom House in Peshawar.
Customs officers are moved
In his new role as Chief Collector of Customs Balochistan at the Custom House in Quetta, Abdul Qadir Memon (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-21) has been transferred from his previous position as Director General at the Customs Academy of Pakistan (CAP) in Karachi.
Director General of Transit Trade, Karachi, Wajid Ali (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-21), will also serve as the Director General of the Customs Academy of Pakistan (CAP), Karachi, in addition to his current responsibilities and until further notice.
Syed Maroof Gilani, a BS-21 officer in the Inland Revenue Service who is currently serving as a Member of the Federal Board of Revenue in Islamabad (based in Karachi) will resign from the government on January 6, 2024 due to reaching retirement age.
