In Pakistan, the price of a tola of gold increased by more than Rs. 1,000 on Monday, closing at Rs. 217,600.

However, the APGJA released data showing that the price of 24 carat precious metal increased by Rs. 1,100 per tola to Rs. 217,600.
In contrast, the cost of 10 grams increased by Rs. 943 to Rs. 186,557.
However, in the past week, the price of precious metal has increased twice in a row, by Rs. 500 and Rs. 900 on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, after remaining flat on Monday.
Prior to a further drop of Rs. 150 on Friday, however, the price per tola dropped by Rs. 650 on Thursday.
On the other hand, the price increased by Rs. 800 per tola on Saturday, reaching Rs. 216,500.
Previous Increase
Furthermore, over the course of the week, the price of the precious metal increased by a total of Rs. 1,400 per tola.
Precious metal prices on the global market reached a peak exceeding six months ago today, as spot gold increased by 0.5 percent to $2,012.33 per ounce by 11:47 GMT.
Additionally, US gold futures increased by 0.5 percent to $2,013.10.
