On Thursday, the price of gold in Pakistan fell by Rs. 500 per tola after a three-day winning streak, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA) data.
Price of 24 Carats Gold by Today
However, the price of 24 carats gold fell by Rs. 500 per tola to Rs. 214,300, while the price of 10 grams fell by Rs. 428 to Rs. 183,728.
Prior to today’s drop, the precious metal’s price had risen by Rs. 3,800 per tola in the first three days of the week.
Furthermore, as of 0549 GMT, spot gold was up 0.2 percent to $1,963.07 per ounce in the international market.
While US the precious metal futures were little changed at $1,965.80.
Price Increased on Tuesday
However, on Tuesday, the precious metal prices in Pakistan rose by Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 212,800 per tola.
In Pakistan, the precious metal prices have risen by Rs. 3,800 per tola in three consecutive sessions.
The international rate of the precious metal was set at $1,988 on Wednesday, with a premium of $20, following a $23 increase in the international market, according to APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices held steady at Rs. 2,580 per tola.
