According to the Sindh Health Department, 199 cases of dengue fever were reported in the metropolis in the last 24 hours.
According to the data, 53 people have died from viral dengue fever in Sindh this year, including 47 from Karachi.
Furthermore, 4797 dengue patients have been reported in the metropolitan city this month, bringing the yearly total to 13,277.
Meanwhile, four people died from the dengue virus in Rawalpindi in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 3,848.
Approximately 68 new patients were reported in the district in the last 24 hours, including 22 from Potohar town urban area, nine from Rawalpindi Cantonment, eight from Rawalpindi Municipal Corporation, six from Chaklala Cantonment, three from Kahuta, and one each from Taxila city, Murree, and Taxila Cantonment area.
The capital Islamabad reported 77 new dengue cases in the last 24 hours, according to health officials on Friday night. This year’s total for the city has risen to 4,272.
In September, there were 730 new cases of fever reported nationwide, with 742 reported in the Karachi division.
Dengue fever cases were reported 1,181 times in District East in 2022, 702 times in District Central, 562 times in District South, and 175 times in Tharparkar.
