Xiaomi revealed not only the Xiaomi 13 Ultra as the primary attraction at its most recent launch event, but also the Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro tablets. These new slates have upgraded chipsets and displays, as well as a fresh design inspired by the Xiaomi 13 series phones.
Xiaomi new Tablets
The tablets have 11-inch IPS LCD displays with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a high resolution of 1800 x 2880 pixels. The Pro variant has a faster 144Hz refresh rate, while the ordinary version keeps the Pad 5 series’ 120Hz refresh rate.
The Pad 6 Pro has a massive 8,600 mAh battery with 67W charging, whereas the Pad 6 has a larger 8,840 mAh cell with 33W charging.

The Pad 6 Pro’s cameras include a 50MP main rear camera and a new 20MP front-facing sensor that auto-tracks during video conversations.
In comparison, the Pad 6 has a 13MP rear sensor and an 8MP front-facing camera. Furthermore, both tablets include quad-speaker systems and Dolby Atmos technology.
Furthermore, Xiaomi showed a redesigned keyboard case as well as a second-generation smart pen attachment with lower input latency, longer battery life, and greater wear resistance on the pen tip.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro come in black, blue, and champagne gold.
The Pad 6 is priced at $291 converted for the 6/128 GB variant, $305 converted for the 8/128 GB model, and $349 converted for the 8/256 GB model. The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, on the other hand, starts at $392 for the base 8/128 GB model.
It is also available in 8/256 GB ($391) and 12/256 GB ($435) configurations, with the top-of-the-line 12/512 GB model costing $480.
Xiaomi spent the previous year providing many refreshes and incremental improvements since debuting the Pad 5 series in August 2021.
However, real successors to the Pad 5 series have finally arrived in the form of the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro.
The Xiaomi Pad 6, which was released today in China alongside gadgets such as the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Xiaomi Band 8, hopes to build on the popularity of the Pad 5.
The new tablet has an 11-inch 2.8K 144 Hz LCD display. The Snapdragon 870 sits under the hood, which is probably a little old at this time but is still a significant upgrade over the Snapdragon 860 in the Pad 5.

Up to 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage are provided by the Qualcomm chipset.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, on the other hand, is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and boasts a consistent 58.7 FPS on Genshin Impact. The Pad 6 Pro, unlike its lesser sibling, can be outfitted with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
Outside of their SoCs, both tablets have identical hardware, although the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro has a lower battery, at 8600 mAh.
In comparison, the vanilla Pad 6 has an 8840 mAh battery. However, the Pro model has 67 W wired charging and charges in 62 minutes, compared to the basic Pad 6’s 33 W charging and 99-minute charge time.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 is available in China today, while the Pad 6 Pro is available for pre-order today with a full release date of April 21.
