Xiaomi 12 series smartphones were unveiled a couple of days back in China. The Xiaomi 12 series consists of three devices: Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and the Xiaomi 12X. The 12X is the most affordable one in the lineup, priced under Rs 40,000 (converted) in China. The Xiaomi 12X comes with features like a 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 870 SoC, 50MP main camera, and 67W fast charging. Now, it looks like the Xiaomi 12X India launch is on the cards and ahead of the official announcement, 91mobiles has reported RAM, Storage, and colour options of the device. Let’s take a look at the 12X details.
Xiaomi 12X RAM, storage, and colour options
As per the report sourced by an industry insider, the Xiaomi 12X will be available in two configurations 一 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. In addition to this, in China, the device is also available in a 12GB+256GB configuration. As for the colour option, the device will come in Purple, Blue, and Gray colour options. While there is no solid information on the price, the Xiaomi 12X could be priced under Rs 40,000 in India as well. 
Specifications
The Xiaomi 12X is the successor to the Xiaomi Mi 11X launched earlier this year. The 12X sports a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1100nits brightness, and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision content. To the front, the device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The Xiaomi 12X is powered by Snapdragon 870 5G SoC, which is the same as the Mi 11X. The device packs in a 4,500mAh battery with 67W wired charging support.
In terms of optics, the smartphone is backed by a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS, a 13MP ultrawide camera with 123° FOV and a 5MP tele-macro camera. For selfies, the device comes with a 32MP snapper. Other features include Wi-Fi 6, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
