One of the major takeaways from Investopia’s annual conference, which took place in Abu Dhabi, UAE, was the introduction of a novel concept in healthcare, called “Smart Clinics,” throughout the United Arab Emirates and the wider Middle Eastern region. The Smart Clinics initiative centres on combining cutting-edge medical technology with pinpoint medical care.
The news broke at the same time as a collaboration agreement was signed between the GKSD Investment Holding Group and Gruppo San Donato (GSD), Italy’s largest private hospital network.

In the presence of Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Chairman of Investopia, Abdulla Al Saleh, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Economy, and Paolo Rotelli, Vice-President of Gruppo San Donato, signed the MoU during the Investopia 2023 Conference.
GKSD Investment Holding and Gruppo San Donato announced in March 2023 that they would invest over 125 million euros in new projects in the United Arab Emirates and the surrounding region.
