Lexus has unveiled the first-ever TX, a three-row vehicle designed specifically for the North American market. This launch is significant for the brand, as it aims to meet the growing demand for spacious and luxurious three-row SUVs.

Lexus aims to create an elegant and indulgent vehicle that meets the diverse needs of its customers by emphasizing comfort, electrification, technology, performance, and design.
The TX continues the legacy of Lexus SUVs with its evolved Lexus Driving Signature fundamentals, building on the success of its predecessors, the NX, LX, and RX.
The vehicle has been fine-tuned to provide a smooth and thrilling ride in every row while maintaining the luxury features that Lexus customers value.
Grades:
Standard, Premium, Luxury, and F SPORT Performance will be the four trim levels for the 2024 TX. It has a commanding presence with its wide stance and comes standard with 20-inch wheels, though 22-inch wheels are available on select grades for a more powerful look.

The exterior color options for the 2024 TX will vary depending on the trim level. Cloudburst Gray, Wind Chill Pearl, Caviar, Matador Red Mica, Nightfall Mica, Incognito, and Celestial Silver Metallic are among the available colors.
Engine:
To meet the diverse needs and lifestyles of customers, the new vehicle will be offered with three powertrain options.
There are two electrified versions available: a trailblazing 3.5L V6 plug-in hybrid and a high-performance 2.4L turbocharged hybrid.
Both powertrains are designed to reduce carbon emissions and help the brand achieve its goal of becoming a carbon-neutral society.
With its responsive 2.4L turbocharged inline-4 engine, similar to the RX and NX models, the TX 350 (available in FWD/AWD) provides a refined and sophisticated driving experience.
Exterior:
The exterior of the TX SUV incorporates Lexus’ current design language as well as distinctive and attention-grabbing design elements, with the goal of achieving a distinct three-row silhouette.
During the design process, the emphasis was on achieving excellent aerodynamic performance. This resulted in increased efficiency and handling stability, as well as the creation of the new Lexus “Unified Spindle” design, which incorporates early Lexus design elements.
A narrow opening below the front hood connects the headlights, and a low-set grille forms a seamless spindle shape.
This sleek front-end design not only improves aerodynamic handling but also adds solidity and improves cooling performance.
The TX has a broad and stable stance, which is accentuated by 20-inch wheels in the standard, Premium, and Luxury grades.
22-inch wheels are available for the TX 350 Luxury grade and are standard on the 550h+ for a more powerful appearance. The 500h F SPORT Performance model also has exclusive 22-inch wheels with a distinctive design.
The TX’s rear features a slim signature L-shaped light bar that mirrors the front’s modern and confident appearance, contributing to a strong overall silhouette. With a blacked-out rear pillar and arrow-shaped accents, the cabin silhouette is sleek and refined.

Interior:
The TX’s interior places a premium on the driver’s experience, with a cockpit design that encourages a strong connection and confidence.
The vehicle has a 12.3-inch multi-information display and a Digital Latch for easy door opening. Passengers are greeted by illuminated accents and a variety of door trim options. Driver controls like the head-up display (HUD) are intended to reduce distractions.
The TX includes a standard 14-inch Multimedia Touchscreen Display called Lexus Interface, which provides easy-to-use controls and clear information.
It also has wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® compatibility. In addition, all powertrain options include a Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound System with 21 speakers for exceptional audio quality.
The TX has been designed with comfort and convenience in mind. There is plenty of storage space throughout the vehicle.
With seven charging/communication ports and three power outlets, passengers can stay connected and charge their devices. To accommodate different cup and bottle sizes, the cupholders are adjustable and removable.
The front seats have a dual-opening console lid, allowing the driver and front-seat passenger to independently access their respective sides.
Depending on the grade, the second row can be configured with captain’s chairs or a 60:40 split-folding bench. A slide assist walk-in mechanism makes it easier to reach the third row. The second-row seats tilt forward and slide to allow access to the third row by pressing a switch.
When equipped with captain’s chairs, the TX has several storage areas, including an optional center console for the second row. This removable semi-console box has cupholders that can be installed and can store small items or a tablet.
For those who lead an active lifestyle, the TX has plenty of cargo space in the back, with room for up to seven carry-on suitcases.
When the third-row seats are folded down, cargo capacity increases to 57.4 cubic feet, while folding both the second and third rows expands it to 97 cubic feet.
The TX is more than just a mode of transportation; it provides a relaxing journey with a quiet and serene cabin. To reduce noise and vibration in the rear seat area, it incorporates high-damping door and roof seals, as well as increased silencer materials.
Safety:
The Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard on the 2024 TX models, providing enhanced reassurance to both drivers and passengers. This comprehensive suite of advanced safety technologies offers the brand’s highest level of driver assistance.
Pre-Collision System (PCS) with Pedestrian Detection, All-speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA), Road Sign Assist (RSA), and Proactive Driving Assist (PDA) are all included in this suite.
These features are intended to warn the driver about pedestrians or vehicles ahead, as well as to assist the driver in maintaining a consistent speed and a safe distance from the vehicle in front.
