With the worth of the local currency plummeting, inflation in Pakistan has reached an all-time high. The automobile sector, in particular, is in shambles as a result of the economic downturn.

Toyota Pakistan has raised the price of all imported cars or Completely Built Units (CBUs) by up to Rs. 1.8 crore, effective immediately, for vehicles such as the Toyota Camry, Prado, and Land Cruiser.
Toyota Pakistan previously increased the prices of imported cars (CBUs) after the government raised the General Sales Tax (GST) on these vehicles from 18% to 25%, coinciding with the depreciation of the local currency.
