On Tuesday, Pakistan and China examined the status of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects and reaffirmed their commitment to accelerating their successful completion for the benefit of both nations.
The event occurred at a meeting between Chinese Charge d’ Affaires Pang Chunxue and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar after the latter visited the minister at the Finance Division.

The minister emphasized throughout the meeting the established and enduring brotherly relations between the two nations.
It was mentioned that Pakistan and China have solid bilateral ties in a number of economic sectors.
Both parties talked on further strengthening these ties in the financial and commercial spheres.
Govt. of Pakistan Praised China’s Efforts on CPEC
The finance minister outlined numerous economic measures implemented by the government and praised China’s leadership for its assistance to Pakistan through difficult times.
Chunxue was appreciative of the government’s policy initiatives for maintaining and enhancing monetary and fiscal stability.
She reaffirmed the Chinese government’s unwavering support for Pakistan and emphasized that it stands with its citizens and is ready to offer all assistance at its disposal.
The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing and accelerating their bilateral cooperation.
