The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be available at the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event next week. It is widely assumed that the phone will have the largest cover screen yet, but that will not be the only design change.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5
Roland Quandt, a popular leaker, shared leaked images of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, confirming that it will have a gapless hinge for the first time.
This means that when closed, the phone will close completely flat, blocking out any unwanted dust or other particles. Consider the image below.
Quandt also shared images of the flip phone’s folder-shaped cover screen, demonstrating what it will be capable of. It will be much larger than before, and Samsung intends to make the most of it.
In comparison, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 had a 1.9-inch outer screen, whereas the Z Flip 5 is expected to have a 3.5-inch display.
- New Cover Screen Features
The cover screen will support widgets such as a calendar, messaging apps, Samsung wallet, time and battery status, weather, call history, and full keyboard support, allowing you to respond to messages without having to open the phone. Because Samsung is attempting to remove these images from the internet, their authenticity is confirmed.
