In interbank trade on Monday, the Pakistani rupee lost Rs1.51 versus the US dollar and ended the day at Rs229.87 as opposed to Rs228.36 the day before. The Pakistani rupee’s value relative to the US dollar decreased by Rs1.51.
The purchasing and selling rates of dollars in the open market were reported at Rs228 and Rs230, respectively, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP).
Similar to the increase in the price of the dollar, the price of the euro jumped by Rs 2.87 and concluded at Rs 234.84 as opposed to Rs 231.97 the day before.
The British pound’s currency rate increased by Rs 3.00 to trade at Rs 276.28 from its previous closing price of Rs 273.28 while the Japanese Yen gained 02 paisas to conclude at Rs 1.68.

The prices of the Saudi Riyal and the Emirates Dirham grew by 41 paisas each to settle at Rs61.17 and Rupees62.58, respectively.
