At the realme GT 2 Series Special Event, realme, the world’s fastest-growing smartphone brand, unveiled three world-first innovations. The cornerstones of realme’s rapid growth have always been relentless technological and design advancements.
The realme GT 2 Series is realme’s first and most luxurious flagship phone, with three world firsts: a bio-polymer back cover, a 150° ultra-wide camera, and realme’s Innovation Forward Communication.
World’s first biopolymer material with Master Design
The realme GT 2 Pro has a basic, environmentally friendly design that is inspired by paper. This “Paper Tech Master Design,” created by renowned Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, makes the realme GT 2 Pro the world’s first smartphone made of bio-based materials.
The back cover of the realme GT 2 Pro is made of bio-polymer, an environmentally beneficial alternative to fossil raw materials that contribute to global warming.
Not only did the SABIC bio-based material achieve the ISCC International Sustainability and Carbon Certification, but it also passed a slew of other tough environmental regulations, including REACH, RoHS, and EPEAT.
Furthermore, the overall plastic ratio has been lowered from 21.7 percent in the previous generation to 0.3 percent for this model thanks to realme’s new box design.
World’s first 150°ultra-wide Camera with fisheye mode
Landscape and architecture photographers frequently employ ultra-wide-angle lenses because they allow the camera to capture a wider viewpoint in each snap. The realme GT 2 Pro is the world’s first smartphone with a 150-degree ultra-wide camera.
When compared to the primary camera’s 84° field of view, this ultra-wide camera enhances the phone’s field of view by 278 percent.
On the GT 2 Pro, realme also develops the world’s first smartphone fisheye mode. This option can give you a powerful perspective or a very lengthy depth of field. The whole picture becomes even more visually pleasing with a large field of view.
Innovation Forward Communication with Stable Signal and 360°NFC
Antenna Array Matrix System on the realme GT 2 Pro combines three technologies: the world’s first ultra-wide-band antenna switching technology (HyperSmart), a Wi-Fi Enhancer, and 360° near-field communication (NFC) technology.
With 12 wrap-around antennas, realme’s HyperSmart antenna switching technology covers all sides of the phone and supports mainstream bands in practically all directions, all with the same signal strength.
As a result, GT 2 Pro can intelligently evaluate the signal strength of all antennas and choose the one with the strongest signal automatically.
The symmetrical Wi-Fi antenna is designed to guarantee more balanced signal strength around the phone in terms of the Wi-Fi network enhancer. In comparison to the asymmetrical Wi-Fi antenna design, this design enhanced signal stability by 20% in realme’s tests.
The top two cellular antennae are additionally integrated with an NFC signal transceiver function, boosting the sensing area by 500% and the sensing distance by 20%.
The GT 2 Pro’s entire upper portion detects NFC signals in both directions, making it easier to use NFC for swiping cards or cell phones.
