Pak-China Huazi Green Energy Pvt Ltd is preparing to launch its first electric vehicle in Islamabad next month. The goal is to raise awareness of and promote their new Electric Vehicle (EV) in the market.

The CEO, Khalid Mehmood, stated that the electric car can be charged easily at home. They expect to receive the assembly plant from China in October and begin production in November 2023. The company intends to begin accepting EV orders in January 2024, and their project is divided into two phases.
They will first launch 2-door and 4-door cars for the middle and lower-middle classes. These vehicles will be equipped with a lithium battery with a warranty of 100,000 kilometers or four years.
The company intends to introduce Mini Pickups and 2-wheelers designed specifically for women in the second phase.

The 2-door electric car can travel 225 kilometers on a single charge, while the 4-door model can travel 350 kilometers.
This USD 5 million joint venture between Pakistan and China aims to transfer 100 percent of the technology within two to five years. They also intend to export their products to countries such as Europe and Turkey.
