Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has stated that all domestic routes will have lower ticket fares for Eid-ul-Azha.
Details indicate that the domestic fares on the national flag airline have been reduced by 20% for each of the three days of Eid-ul-Azha.
Khawaja Saad Rafique, the aviation minister, recommended that the decision be made to entertain the people.
Pakistan Railways said on Wednesday that ticket costs would be reduced by 30%. According to an official announcement, the discount would be in effect for three days of Eid.
Additionally, Pakistan Railways will run two additional special trains before Eid. While the second train will travel from Karachi to Lahore, the first train will run from Quetta to Peshawar.
On Friday, both trains will run, with the first scheduled to leave at 10 A.M. and the second at 6:45 PM.
Separately, PIA reported an expansion in direct weekly flights to Skardu in anticipation of a significant rise in visitors to the northern regions after Eid.
