Apple company has finally launched the much-awaited iPhone 12 series the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max but We will be discussing the iPhone 12 and 12 Mini in this article.
The iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 have similar identification descript save for the display size and smartphone dimensions. In Apple’s words, these phones are 11% thinner, 15% smaller, and 16% lighter.
Pricing of iPhone 12 series:
The iPhone 12 price is $799 and will be made available in Blue, Green, Black, White, and Product(RED) and iPhone 12 Mini starts at $699 will be made available in Blue, Green, Black, White, and Product(RED) color options.
The battery power of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini:
As usual, Apple has not disclosed the exact battery describing for either handset. The iPhone 12 mini can hold the 15 hours of video playback and 50 hours of audio playback. On the other hand, the iPhone 12 model provides 17 hours of video and 65 hours of audio playback with transmitting the data said to run the battery out of charge after 10 hours. Audio playback in comparison sees the phone last for 50 hours before asking for the charger.
Apple company has also added the new MagSafe magnet system on both smartphones. It supports wireless chargers (including Qi-enabled devices), case accessories, and even leather wallets that all snap onto the rear of the device.
Note that the smartphones don’t come with a charger or earbuds in the box.

Design and Display:
Overall, the two smartphones do not stray far from the iPhone 11’s design. Though, Cupertino has skillfully joined design parts of the famous iPhone 4 (flat sides), which is a nice change.
The display iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 both corners have curves that follow a wonderful curved design and these corners are within a standard rectangle. When measured as a standard rectangular shape, the iPhone 12 mini screen is 5.42 inches diagonally (the actual viewable area is less). The iPhone 12 screen is 6.06 inches diagonally (the actual viewable area is less).
The iPhone 12 will be available for pre-order on 16th October, starting at $799, while the iPhone 12 mini will go on pre-order on 6th November starting at $699.

The iPhone 12 Mini and Vanilla iPhone 12 are stored with Apple’s latest A14 Bionic SoC, being touted as ‘fastest chip in a smartphone’. According to Apple, it starts what’s possible and can crunch trillions of operations on the Neural Engine on top of giving a great battery life. It is the same chipset seen in iPhone 12 Pro
The A14 Bionic is a 5nm chip with better power performance and appearance than the A13. It features a six-core CPU (two high and four low), which, as per Apple’s claims, is 50 percent faster than the A13 chip
Both smartphones are available in 3 storage options, 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB. If you’re wondering about the RAM Apple hasn’t bothered mentioning it as usual.
