The Lahore Development Authority’s (LDA) Private Housing Scheme (PHS) department recently conducted a massive operation against 12 unlawful housing complexes and land subdivisions. The operation on Raiwind Road was carried out with the assistance of a sizable detachment of police and LDA officials under the direction of Deputy Director Ali Sikho.
The crew wasted no time in taking serious action, tearing up roads and sewerage systems in the unapproved subdivisions. A public school subdivision on Raiwind Road, a mill subdivision on Raiwind Road, the Dream Housing Scheme subdivision behind Almadina Town, Ali Park, and Hammad Garden were all impacted.
LDA takes action on a large scale
In addition, the group took extra precautions by locking the subdivisions’ offices on Raiwind Road, including Gulberg Town, Azan Park, Ahad Homes, and Royal City, all of which were located near a wedding chapel.
To combat illicit housing schemes and guarantee adherence to land development laws and regulations, the authorities conducted this operation. The infrastructure of these illegal plans will be demolished by LDA in an effort to prevent further illegal building and protect the public’s best interests.
