The fourth-generation Kia Sorento SUV facelift has been revealed in images three years after its introduction.

The most visible feature is redesigned headlights with T-shaped DRLs above the four-LED main beam assembly on each side. The character lines on the front grille, lower bumper, and bonnet are wider than before.
The side aspect of the Sorento is virtually unchanged, although the tail lamps and alloy wheels have been modified.
Below them is a redesigned rear bumper with reverse lights beneath the phony skid plate and rear fog lights above them. Overall, Sorento appears to take design cues from the EV 9 SUV, as did Carnival and Picanto before it.
The dashboard arrangement appears to be the same, but the center air-conditioning vents have been slimmed down and horizontalized to make place for the touchscreen infotainment unit.
The driver’s digital instrument panel and the infotainment unit remain on the dual-widescreen configuration. The Sorento facelift, like the EV6, includes a rotary transmission selector next to the twin cupholders.
The fourth-generation Kia Sorento was released globally earlier this year, with a 2.5-liter petrol engine producing 177 horsepower and 232 Newton-meters of torque or a 2.2-liter turbodiesel producing 199 horsepower and 440 Newton-meters of torque. The new Sorento’s technical characteristics will be published in the future.
