The auto sector has virtually been destroyed by the recent economic crisis. Due to constrained output, some manufacturers are having trouble staying afloat, but others are still providing quick delivery for their vehicles.
One such automaker that provides “ready delivery” on all vehicle variants is Kia Pakistan. This suggests that buyers can take immediate possession of any new automobile they book, saving them from a potential price increase in the near future.
All models of the Picanto, Stonic, Sportage, Sorento, and Carnival are eligible for the promotion. The deal is reportedly only available on a select few units and is only good through June 30, 2023.
KIA Lucky Motors Sales Decline
Lucky Motor Corporation Limited (LMCL) observed a significant fall in sales of Kia and Peugeot in March 2023 following sustained sales growth in February and March 2023.
According to a recent study, Kia sold only 496 cars, a 34% decrease in sales from month to month (MoM). Peugeot had a 78% fall MoM in sales of its 2008 SUV, selling only 59 units in total.
Crossover SUVs are the primary sales vehicles for both businesses. SUVs and fuel are both quite expensive right now. As a result, it is likely that lower demand is to blame for the low sales.
However, if the government reinstates the issuance of Letters of Credit (LCs) for imports into the auto industry, that assertion may turn out to be false.
