For decades, the relationship between cricketers and Bollywood stars has been in the news. This friendship even drew actors and actresses very close to each other, causing them to marry.
This time, Bharat Sundaresan, a well-known Indian journalist and novelist, highlighted an unusual relationship between a cricketer and an actor.
He compares Pakistan’s best pacer, Naseem Shah, to a youthful Aamir Khan from the early 1990s.
Bharat Sundaresan took to twitter to ask his followers if Naseem looked like Aamir Khan.
Naseem Shah Profile
Pakistan is known for producing fast bowlers and for producing prodigies seemingly out of nowhere. Naseem Shah is the most recent addition to the list, having received his first Test call-up for the tour of Australia in late 2019, despite having played only five First-class matches.
With his quickness, discipline, and ability to swing/seam the ball, he has already created a lot of buzz in Pakistan at the age of 16. Needless to say, Naseem is still in his infancy, even in first-class cricket, let alone in Test cricket.
Naseem Shah became the ninth-youngest player in international cricket history when he made his debut against Australia in December 2019 at the age of 16, and he is also the second-youngest bowler to achieve a five-wicket haul in Test cricket against Sri Lanka. He is also the youngest person to take a Test hat-trick.
