The Islamabad Police Department has ordered that no rooms be provided to participants of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Long March.
The PTI long march began yesterday in Lahore, and the federal government and police have completed their preparations.
The police issued an order to all hotels and guesthouses in the district, requesting that the hotel owners not cooperate with the participants of the long march.

According to Islamabad Police, all hotels and guesthouses will be check on a daily basis, and action will be taken if any hotel or guesthouse found out providing rooms or support to long march participants.
PTI’s request for a NOC was denied
The district administration of Islamabad also rejected the PTI’s request for a NOC yesterday. On behalf of the district administration, a letter sent to the PTI leadership, requesting satisfactory assurances on every clause of the new agreement.
The Islamabad district administration had also issued a new letter explaining the reason for rejecting the application to Tehreek-e-Insaf, in which it was reminded that the administration had also issued the NOC on May 25, but the ministers had violated the agreements.
Islamabad Police Preparations
According to the security plan, 1,386 security personnel will be assign to the PTI long march, who will be oversee by two DIGs, four SSPs, and eleven SPs. While 30 ASPs and DSPs will be on the job as well.
In addition, 4,190 Federal police officers and personnel, 4,265 FC personnel, 3,600 ranger personnel, and 1,022 Sindh police officers and personnel will be deploy in the long march.
To deal with any potential provocation, security personnel will provide with 616 tear gas guns and 50,050 shells, as well as 611 twelve-bore guns and 36,700 rubber bullets. The police also been gave 2,430 masks and 374 vehicles as part of the security plan.
