Over 6,000 Indian Instagram Users
A website called Downdetector, which tracks user claims of internet outages, states that over 6,000 users in India reported.
Of Having trouble accessing the platform at the height of the outage, which occurred at around 12:08 p.m. today.
33% Of Complaints’ Users
Of these complaints, 33% of users said they had trouble opening the program.
10% said they were having trouble connecting to servers, and 57% of users said they had problems reading Instagram’s feed.
When they couldn’t log in to the app, a number of users vented their irritation on social networking platform X.
A lot of people were complaining that Reels, Instagram’s short-video platform, was taking a long time to load and was showing error messages.

They discussed the challenges they had when watching Insta Reels on X using the hashtag #InstagramDown. Instagram users claimed they couldn’t watch Instagram Reels.
Nor, the feed page featured pictures of cars and landscapes. The Instagram outage has not been denied or confirmed by Meta.
There has been no official word from Instagram as of yet, and the reason for the outage is unknown.
