The Dimensity 9000 from MediaTek is one of the most anticipated flagship chipsets for 2022. It is manufactured by TSMC on a 4nm node and uses the ARMv9 architecture to compete with Qualcomm and Samsung. It sets the high AI benchmark industry for processors making industries.
The Dimensity 9000 scores a stunning 692.5 on the AI Benchmark database, approximately 270 percent quicker than Google Tensor’s 256.9.
Fans of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 are still waiting for testing. Qualcomm claims that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is a 4x improvement over the Snapdragon 888.
The Snapdragon chip is expected to score about 560, according to the tipster Digital Chat Station, putting it below Dimensity 9000.
The Dimensity chipset, according to Digital Chat Station, uses somewhat less power. The insider also mentioned that TSMC’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chips, commonly known as the SM8475, perform at lower temperatures than Samsung’s SM8450.
